  Where are the Forum Policies/Guidelines... and more

  ive been posting here from more than ten years.

  im not a prolific poster, but based on my ongoing participation i thought i knew participation policies, by firsthand experience if nothing else.

  recently i had need to consult the forums policy and posting guidelines looking for position statements, definitions and explanations.

  I think it is only natural progression for a topic to include surrounding issues. I suppose once a thread degenerates into a slagging match with no sign of any topic at all...it is a clear indication the comments are 'off topic' and just poking each other with sticks.

  LOL Marvin... I think many people only notice them when they are pointed out.

  And off topic comments are often a grey area to me too. Because sometimes to fully explore a topic, I believe sometimes you need to wander off topic a bit. Well...at a glance, what appears to be off topic.

  Providing the thread comes back on topic again all is not lost. And the wee journey could have been quite enlightening (and often has been to me) in the bigger scheme of things. Not always...but sometimes.

  Yes...I often derail my own threads...LOL It's how my mind works. I'm a derailer...

  how come the watchtower will not side with christendom and address a topic like the following?

  what if christendom had allowed islam to spread it's plunder into europe without a fight and great force?

  i direct your attention to islam spreading not as a distraction, but to ask the question most atheist have asked me when we talk of this subject.

  blondie posted her watchtower comments for today and her last paragraph was asking for help, suggestions.

  she is in pain from her knee injury, is on steroids and possibly going to have surgery.. she is asking if anyone here, has had the same problem, and if so, what did they do and how was the outcome?.

  So sorry for you Blondie...I injured my knee years ago...but didn't need any surgery, just physio. Very painful though. Sorry can't help with any suggestions. What sort of injury is it?

  Awarebeing...I'm halfway through that first video...the bit where he is talking about Sirius B slowing down the earths rotation a second a day for two weeks. Sorry, but I'm going to wheel out the bearded man... Is there some evidence for this? I'm going to google Sirius B just because I think it is interesting.
